St Paul writer Nancy Louise Cook runs The Witness Project, a series of free community writing workshops designed to enable creative work by underrepresented voices. Nancy is also one of a small number of Solace community artists developing arts programming in conjunction with a transitional housing initiative under the auspices of the Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership. She spent the first four months of 2019 in Northern Ireland conducting writing workshops with people affected by the sectarian conflict known as “The Troubles.” Some of her newest work can be found in existere, The Tangerine, Stoneboat, and Litbreak.
